Payment Policy
Payment for Services are required in full via credit card at the time of online registration.
Payment for “Member” services (i.e., Membership Plans) will be charged on a monthly basis per your payment method upon registration. Member services may be cancelled by you at any time. Please note, this does not cancel your Plan immediately, rather your Plan simply does not renew at the end of the subscription period.
Failed payments will automatically cancel your plan. Please be sure to keep credit card information up to date to ensure uninterrupted continuation of services.
Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellation by Thin Place, LLC:
Thin Place reserves the right to cancel events for any reason. In the unfortunate circumstance of an event cancellation, registration deposits and payments will be refunded.
Cancellation by Customer:
Half-Day or Single-Day Retreats, Events, Workshops, Hikes, Classes, and Courses:

If you cancel more than 2 weeks in advance, a full refund will be provided.

If you cancel within 14 days of the service: 50% of your payment is non-refundable, and 50% is transferable as a credit toward the cost of another event at Thin Place. Credits must be used within 12 months of the date of refund. After 12 months, any unused credits will be recorded as a donation.
We understand emergencies arise. In the instance of an emergency please contact kim@thinplacecommunity.com.
Member Services (Membership Plans):
You may cancel your subscription to Member Services (Membership Plans) at any time. Please note, this does not cancel your Plan immediately, rather your Plan simply does not renew at the end of the subscription period.

Email Subscriptions
By voluntarily providing us with your email address, for example, if you sign up to receive an email newsletter (i.e., Weekly Article and/or Weekly Guide) or free product, you consent to our use of your email address for the purposes for which you provided it, as well as occasional emails regarding the site or other products or services we believe may be of interest to you. You may opt out of such email communications at any time by selecting the “unsubscribe” button found in the email.
Fulfillment and Customer Satisfaction
Thin Place, LLC is committed to supporting individuals and communities in ways that honor the work that we do. Therefore, we offer a 100% Satisfaction Guarantee for services/offerings that we create. If you are unsatisfied with our services for any reason, contact us at office@thinplacecommunity.com within one month of completion of a service/offering for a full refund.
If a service/offering is cancelled by Thin Place for any reason, you will be offered the full or prorated amount of the service that you did not receive.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Thin Place, LLC, be liable for any indirect, punitive, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages, including without limitation, damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data or other intangible losses, arising out of or relating to the use of, or inability to use, the information, products, materials, or services that you request or receive through or on our website and its content.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Thin Place, LLC assumes no liability or responsibility for any (i) errors, mistakes, or inaccuracies of content; (ii) personal injury or property damage, of any nature whatsoever, resulting from your access to or use of our services (website, products, services/offerings); and (iii) any unauthorized access to or use of our secure servers and/or any and all personal information stored therein.
This website is not intended to provide mental health treatment. The services and resources provided on this site are not a replacement for therapeutic relationship or medical advice. When participating in services/offerings provided by Thin Place, LLC, you may ONLY download and reproduce individual copies of resources/materials (i.e., for yourself ONLY). You are not permitted to share, sell, edit, copy, modify, reprint, or republish resources outside of your agreed upon terms of use (i.e., for you as an individual). Resources/materials are not to be shared with friends, colleagues, family, or additional groups within the same organization. The creation, development, and marketing of these products requires a significant investment of time and financial resources. Please support the legal use of intellectual property and encourage interested parties to purchase their own licensed materials. Ethical use supports the continuation of this work.
Under special circumstances you may request permission to use resources or materials created by Thin Place, LLC. Requests must be made formally, in writing. If permission is granted, such will be done through written consent.
